If you lived in the 1950's or 60's and you wanted a family video recorded, your only option was a handheld 8mm video camera. If your family had an 8mm camera, chances are they made some wonderful recordings that you later watched on an 8mm projector.
Today, 8mm technology is seldom used; only the hobbyist still films with it. If you inherited film or have old film reels, you know that getting a 50-year-old projector to view these classics is not the easiest task.
Both 8mm and Super 8mm film can be converted to DVD, allowing you to conveniently enjoy those lost memories. Reels come in many different sizes, ranging from the common 3 inch diameter to 7 inches ( 3 minutes to 21 minutes running time).
Getting your film converted takes longer than other services, primarily because the film needs to be cleaned and carefully processed. We know how valuable your family memories are, so we take our time working with them. Film is edited and transferred to DVD with your musical selections from that era. Like all our projects, you get to view it before it's finalized. So if the chronological order is wrong or you would rather not have Uncle Chester on any of your DVDs, that can also be changed.
No other service brings as many tears as 8mm transfer, primarily because the footage has not been seen in over 30 years. If you are looking for a gift for your parents, or wanting to show your grown kids what they were like as toddlers, it doesn't get much better than this!
